
Jamie Williams
2nd Vice Chair
Jamie was born and raised in northeastern British Columbia, having lived in both Fort St. John and Fort Nelson. She currently serves as a Community Relationship Manager with Beem Credit Union. With 15 years of experience in the Credit Union System, Jamie took a brief hiatus to run her own fitness and nutrition consulting business, enriching her understanding of the northern economy, small business landscape, and local culture.
Throughout her career, Jamie has demonstrated a strong commitment to supporting local businesses, economic development, community initiatives, and the non-profit sector. Her extensive experience in the Credit Union System, combined with her background as a business owner, has equipped her with valuable insights and skills in member service, finance, marketing, communications, relationship management, and community investment.
Jamie is also an active member of the BC Emerging Leaders working committee, serving as a co-lead for events, and the Vice Chair of Beem’s internal young leaders’ group. Most recently, she was nominated for the Credit Union National Young Leader’s Award.
In addition, Jamie holds a certification in events management from Mount Royal University, which she leverages to support various community engagement and volunteer projects. She is enthusiastic about bringing her expertise, knowledge, and perspective to the Chamber of Commerce and is dedicated to serving and empowering local businesses in the community
