January 26, 2010 - Chamber luncheon with guest speaker Mayor Bruce Lantz and swearing in of new Directors

March 16, 2010 - Chamber Luncheon with guest speakers MLA Pat Pimm and Finance Minister Colin Hansen.  Location: Pomeroy Hotel  12 noon.

April 13, 2010 - Regularly scheduled Board Meeting, followed by the Chamber AGM at 1pm.  Location: North Peace Business Resource Center

April 14, 2010 - HST presentation by MNP 1 - 2:30 pm at the Pomeroy Hotel.  RSVP to the Chamber office at 250.785.6037 or by email to info@fsjchamber.com no later than April 9, 2010.

April 15 - 16, 2010 - Join Howard Olsen for ...The 3 Truths of Selling.

BC Human Rights Coalition presents a Seminar on Human Rights Toolkit for Small Business.

The seminar will deal with topics such as:

  • knowling the law around human rights, bullying and harassment
  • Developing and implementing a respectful workplace policy
  • avoiding human rights complaints
  • investigating complaints
  • remedying informal complaints
  • responding to formal human rights complaints
  • understanding the grounds on which to get formal complaints dismissed
  • navigating the human rights tribunal process
